"Where in the Duck are We? 4x4 Club" was founded in 2005 on the snowy trails near Butte Meadows, CA. The founding members were "lost," had little in the way of a plan or destination, and found an out-of-place duck decoy in the snow drifts. The club was born with the idea that all you need is basic four wheel drive, a few days out of the year and some buddies to have fun and escape the daily grind. Members are a loose group of trail wheeling and back country enthusiasts. We meet once a year for The Trip; five days in your rig with three of those days off-road.

Club Meet & Drink a Success!

On 11/18/11 Nick Moranda put together this year's first "official" club meet in Lakeport, CA at Roundtable Pizza.  The meet was a great success and was attended by five member's of last years trip and three potential joiners.  Keeping with the Club's cheap mentality, we gorged ourselves on pizza and beer for a little more than $10 per member.  If you didn't come... come next time!  (Next meet sometime in January 2012.)

At the meet we reviewed last year's trip and passed around info for possible locations of this year's trip.  A poll was taken of preferences for the locations of this year's trip, which will again be in Nevada:
