"Where in the Duck are We? 4x4 Club" was founded in 2005 on the snowy trails near Butte Meadows, CA. The founding members were "lost," had little in the way of a plan or destination, and found an out-of-place duck decoy in the snow drifts. The club was born with the idea that all you need is basic four wheel drive, a few days out of the year and some buddies to have fun and escape the daily grind. Members are a loose group of trail wheeling and back country enthusiasts. We meet once a year for The Trip; five days in your rig with three of those days off-road.

The 2013 Trip is Nine Days Away!

The 2013 Trip is almost here. Sounds like we have at least four rigs going this year with about nine guys. Nick Moranda has put together a laid-back circuit through the Nevada desert that should allow extra time to kick back and enjoy the finer things in life.... Like a cold drink and miles of down range! The convoy meets up in Poinsettia on Saturday April 13. If you want to join, get ahold of someone, there are extra seats and the meal plan is simple! See you on the trail!

PS - we ran into a rough patch with our Club decal provider and have sourced a new one complete with our own digital copy and an updated "rocker" design for each year's trip. Keep an eye out for the new swag coming soon!
