We had such a blast (pun intended) on the "Bachelor Run" that we're returning to the Nevada deserts in April, 2011. Last year, we left with a vague idea of where we were going and brought enough supplies to relieve a Third World nation. This year we're going a little LESS equipped and BETTER prepared for traveling between ghost towns in the North West region of Nevada. As with last year, the plan is to load up for five days and hit the trails, traveling between and camping at different ghost towns every day, all while on good old, unmaintained open-access BLM land.
We need bodies and rigs for this year's big annual trip. Last year we had five guys and two trucks (Mike's Exploder...exploded right before the trip). The conditions were cramped and we brought way too much crap to haul around on the trail. This year we're hoping to add a few more vehicles and many more people. You don't have to have a 4x4 to come, as long as you help with the cost of fuel in someone else's rig. Last year five days came to around $130 per person for EVERYTHING from the moment we left 'till we were back home. This year will be even more economical and just as much fun... We just need you to come along!
