The second annual Club Swap Meet is on Saturday, March 7th at Mike's place in Scotts Valley (Lakeport, CA). There will be BBQ, drinks, meet & greet, and swapping of gear. This year EVERYONE should bring crap to trade. You'll leave with more than you bring guaranteed. Go clean your garage or steal from work and bring that pile of clutter. Good stuff to bring:
Camp gear: everything from a tent stake to a stove, sleeping bag or axe.
Off -Road gear: 12v lights, air tanks, radios, beer koozies...
Tools: anything that resembles a tool counts... we all have extras...
Chains, straps, ropes, emergency gear, medical gear, canned foods, MREs...
Gun/hunting gear, gun parts, ammo, brass, reloading stuff...
Random/spare vehicle parts, spare tires, fluids, unique parts...
"Where in the Duck are We? 4x4 Club" was founded in 2005 on the snowy trails near Butte Meadows, CA. The founding members were "lost," had little in the way of a plan or destination, and found an out-of-place duck decoy in the snow drifts. The club was born with the idea that all you need is basic four wheel drive, a few days out of the year and some buddies to have fun and escape the daily grind. Members are a loose group of trail wheeling and back country enthusiasts. We meet once a year for The Trip; five days in your rig with three of those days off-road.
