"Where in the Duck are We? 4x4 Club" was founded in 2005 on the snowy trails near Butte Meadows, CA. The founding members were "lost," had little in the way of a plan or destination, and found an out-of-place duck decoy in the snow drifts. The club was born with the idea that all you need is basic four wheel drive, a few days out of the year and some buddies to have fun and escape the daily grind. Members are a loose group of trail wheeling and back country enthusiasts. We meet once a year for The Trip; five days in your rig with three of those days off-road.

IMPORTANT DATES

Write these down, put them on the calendar, set reminders on your cell phone:

The Trip 2014 has been bumped to May 22-26 (Turs.-Mon.).  This slight date change is due to Monday the 26th being a national holiday that most people will already have off.  You only need two week days off for this years five day trip!

The Club Swap Meet is still scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at Mike Phillips' place (big implement lot).  Bring your STUFF.  Bring beer, bullets, medical gear, recovery gear, truck parts, gun parts, hunting gear, extra tools, chain, straps... whatever you don't want that someone else could use.  We can all "find" extra stuff floating around work/home, so bring that.  Do not bring money.  You will go home with STUFF you can use off-road even if you show up empty handed.
